Fun With Pen & Ink

I have gotten back into pen and ink work again lately as I am contemplating doing another Lincoln portrait. (see others here, here and here.)

A beautiful gnarled tree I found in Bunker Hill Forest Preserve.

  1. These are fun. The tree looks like it's melting; the texture you rendered looks so surreal. I like the little ground squirrel. It's got "attitude"!

  2. Thank you Sarah. That tree trunk was amazing. It did look like it had melted or some such thing. Made me wonder how it got that way. (I am into trees lately.)
